CUSTOMS CLEARING As an accredited agent, we facilitate and ensure correct classification of products for Customs compliance. We submit our Bills of Entry via EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) ensuring precleared cargo through Customs within the allotted time by the Shipping/Air lines avoiding or minimising demurrage/storage costs. FREIGHT FORWARDING We work with a network of International Freight Agents that understands the intricacies and legislation in their respective countries, which ensures a streamlined process and turnaround times. REGISTERED AGENT A registered agent is a company in South Africa acting on behalf of a Foreign Principal or Company. It is important to note that a ‘Registered Agent’ is not the same as a ‘Clearing Agent'. The Foreign Importer/Exporter must appoint an Agent to act on their behalf. As a Registered Agent, we “mirror” your business in South Africa, making movement into the Rest of Africa faster, more efficient, eliminating the pressure of the legislative requirements.
