CRCT was established in November 2003 with a registered capital of RMB 3.9 billion and assets of RMB 31.5 billion. It is a large state-owned container transport enterprise registered by the State Administration for Industry & Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and affiliated with CHINA RAILWAY. It is a multimodal transport operation enterprise of CHINA RAILWAY and a unified operation service platform of CHINA RAILWAY Express and New Western Land-sea Corridor. In addition, CRCT serves as the secretariat unit of the Transport Coordination Committee of CHINA RAILWAY Express and New Western Land-sea Corridor. CRCT upholds the enterprise spirit of "honesty, responsibility, harmony and innovation", and follows the operation philosophy of "market demand-oriented, quality service-oriented, customer satisfaction-oriented", and is brave in taking responsibility, forging ahead and pursuing dreams, and striving to achieve win-win development of enterprises, customers, relevant parties, and staff. It is the largest shareholder of China Railway Tielong Container Logistics Co., Ltd. (a listed company) and China United International Rail Containers Co., Ltd. (a sino-foreign joint venture).
