The Port of Ravenna Authority is the public body governing the Port of Ravenna, the only Port in the Emilia-Romagna Region and a strategic node within the European TEN-T network. The Authority is tasked with directing, planning, and promoting port operations, alongside industrial and commercial activities in the area. Defined by its 14 km-long Canal, the Port serves as a leading multi-sector hub in Italy for dry bulk and general cargo, acting as a vital engine for the regional economy. The Port of Ravenna is a historic Italian leader in the Dry Bulk sector and ranks 9th in Europe for this type of product.
