COSCO Shipping Co., Ltd. (COSCOL) was established in Dec. 1999, specializing in the shipment of project cargo, heavy-lift cargo and specialized cargo. It marks the entrance of COSCO's core business into China's capital market when COSCOL was listed at Shanghai Stock Exchange on Apr.18, 2002 and soon became one of the benchmarks of "Shanghai Composite Index 180".
